100 YEARS AGO Oct. 7, 1909 The Arkansas Railroad Commission, in conference with officials of the leading lines in Arkansas, yesterday agreed upon several reductions in freight rates in the new court tariff recently put into effect, pending a final termination of the railroad rate litigation. The changes will go into effect as soon as they can be published.
