Workman to head new discovery center
The city of Manhattan, Kan., announced him as the first director of the Flint Hills Discovery Center.

The man who stepped down from his post as executive director of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art here earlier this year, was announced Monday as the first director of the Flint Hills Discovery Center, scheduled to break ground soon in Manhattan, Kan.
