I just completed the Heber Springs Triathlon and agree, Lake Fayetteville would make the perfect place for a endurance race of any type. Great trails for both biking & running and the perfect water source for either kayaking or a swimming portion of an event. This is a good idea and I hope it gets worked in. With another draw of people into the area, this would add more revenue for retailers, hotels, restaurants and the such.

I think it is an inspired idea, but there'd need to be some work done before I would want to swim in it. Ick.
