Wiener takes all
Bella Vista Animal Shelter hosts annual event.

An estimated crowd of 500 people watched the third annual Bella Vista Animal Shelter Wiener Dog Races on Saturday.
BELLA VISTA - Wiener dogs reined supreme here on Saturday when the tiny pups took to the race track to decide which dog was king. During each race, the tiny spoken word "go" had Dachshunds of every size and color running for the finish line. Some ran straight for their owners, a few ran to meet their fellow racers and some managed to get so excited they turned flips in their dash to the finish.
