Fayetteville Public Library

The library will offer a six-week creative writing workshop, Youth Writing Workshop, for students in third through fifth grade, from 4-5 p.m. every Monday through Oct. 26 in the Wal-Mart Storytime Room. Register at the children's desk or call 856-7170.

Teen Creative Fiction Workshop, for students in sixth through 12th grade, will meet every Tuesday through Oct. 27 from 4-5 p.m. in the Wal-Mart Storytime Room. Register at the reference desk or call 856-7250.

After School Workshops for students in kindergarten through fifth grade will meet every Thursday through Oct. 29 from 4-5 p.m. in the Wal-Mart Storytime Room. Registration is required at the children's desk.

The library will host a resume review session from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Reading Room, located on the library's second floor. Ellen Bruce, human resources specialist, will review and provide feedback on resumes.

The library will celebrate the fifth anniversary of Blair Library by unveiling its first fee-based card, which will generate funds for environmentally-friendly projects at the library, at 3 p.m. Friday in the library's lobby. Cards are $10 each.
