Ireland's 'yes' to EU treaty sets off sighs of relief

Ireland's recession-hit voters overwhelmingly approved the European Union's long-delayed overhaul plans, electoral chiefs announced Saturday, in a referendum result greeted with cheers in Dublin and sighs of relief in Brussels, Belgium, headquarters of the European Commission.
