Group plans rebound from financial crisis

Loyd Smith picks out letters he can remember with reading tutor Jim Mears on Tuesday at the Ozark Literacy Council Inc., located off Sunbridge Drive in Fayetteville. The organization teaches adults to read and write and teaches English as a second language.

Loyd Smith grasped a plastic "J" in his hand, trying to figure out what letter it was.
