The Razorbacks play the Aggies at Cowboys Satidum in Dallas on Saturday.
ARLINGTON, Texas Ryan Mallett threw four touchdown passes, leading the Arkansas Razorbacks to a 47-19 victory over the Texas A&M Aggies in a matchup of old Southwest Conference rivals Saturday at Cowboys Stadium.
Texas A&M (3-1) led 10-0 in the first quarter of the inaugural Southwest Classic before Arkansas (2-2) scored 30 consecutive points for a 30-10 halftime lead.
Mallett had three touchdown passes in the first half - an 8-yard throw to Broderick Green in the first quarter and a 5-yard pass to De'Anthony Curtis and 31-yard pass to Jarius Wright in the second. Mallett added a 29-yard touchdown pass to Michael Smith in the third quarter.
Arkansas linebacker Jerry Franklin, who was ejected two weeks earlier against Georgia after receiving two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, returned a Jerrod Johnson fumble 85 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.
