Saunders Memorial Black Powder Match is a blast from the past

The flintlock rifle of Mike Brisco of Marshfield, Mo., belches fire as he shoots offhand at targets during the 54th annual Saunders Memorial Black Powder Match held last weekend at Luther Owens Memorial Park in Berryville. The match attracted shooters from five states.

The sound of motorcycles swarming the highways for the Bikes, Blues & BBQ festival wasn't the only rolling thunder heard in the region last weekend.
