PUBLIC VIEWPOINT: Health Care ‘Reform’ A Black Hole

Posted: November 30, 2009 at 2:33 a.m.

The Obama administration is now in conflict with a whole array of “villains”: “Rich people,” insurance companies, Wall Street, banks, Republicans, Fox News, etc. All of these must be taxed, regulated or ostracized into submission for the common good.

Health care “reform” is a black hole. The House Democrats have passed their version in a midnight session - almost 2,000 pages containing over 3,000 “shall” mandates, requiring 118 government agencies, at a cost of $1.2 trillion. We’re in the hands of idiots! One Arkansas Democrat had the courage to vote against it: Rep. Mike Ross.

How could anyone in their right mind believe our bureaucratic government could manage this monstrosity? They’ve never managed anything efficiently! And please don’t cite Medicare, which has cost many times the estimates from its beginning, is totally inundated with waste and fraud, and will soon be bankrupt.

“Political correctness” almost surely contributed to the Islamic terrorist act at Fort Hood. For years this guy’s Army associates had known of his radical beliefs but were afraid to report his anti-American, jihadist speech and presentations. You must not say anything critical about any ethnic or religious group!

The latest outrage is bringingthe guy who planned 9/11 to New York for trial, which gives him all the constitutional rights of an American citizen. This administration doesn’t believe in a “war on terror” - it’s just a police action!

Lou Dobbs on CNN was the only voice in TV outside Fox News who tried to “tell it like it is.” He’s been under heavy criticism, and after a heated discussion of how the Fort Hood shooter is obviously an Islamic terrorist, Lou is no longer at CNN. Note: Fox News has more viewers than the other cable news networks combined.
