Politics for the holidays

Some random thoughts about generally unrelated issues now that the holiday season is under way: America finally seems to be moving toward the decriminalization of pot. A recent Gallup Poll noted that support for the full legalization of marijuana has risen to 44 percent, up from 36 percent in 2005 and 31 percent in 2000.
