100 YEARS AGO Nov. 29, 1909 The State Charity Board and the Penitentiary Board, both of which will meet next Monday, will have one or more important questions to dispose of. At the former meeting of the Charity Board, Dr. E.R. Dibrell, State Treasurer James L. Yates and Secretary R.W. Hart were appointed a committee to prepare a plan for the segregation and proper housing and care of the tuberculosis patients at the State Hospital for Nervous Diseases, with the request that they report such suggestions as they may have to offer at the December meeting of the board.
