Corps To Survey Around Beaver Lake

— The Army Corps of Engineers is advising adjacent landowners and visitors that survey crews will soon be working on about 1,200 acres of public lands around Beaver Lake.

The work will take place in and around Alpine Park, Pine Top, Parker Bottoms, Dam Site River, Shaddox Island, Deer Island, Bear Island, Horseshoe Bend and War Eagle/Blacktop areas.

The surveys are being conducted by Brockington & Associates of Norcross, Ga., according to a news release.

Access roads to the work areas will be posted with caution signs and contractor vehicles will be marked with the company name.

Hunters should be aware of these contractors presence.

Regulations prohibit any act or conduct that interferes with, impedes or disrupts the use of the project or impairs the safety of any person.
