For all the scandals and scoundrels, there are always good names to be thankful for: Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada and Andy Pettitte, the Core Four who were the foundation of the New York Yankees’ winning the World Series again after nearly a decade of disappointment.
