U.S. plans 38 auctions for oil, gas leases in 2010

The U.S. will hold 38 auctions next year for oil and natural gas leases on federal land as part of its commitment to developing domestic fossil-fuel supplies, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said Tuesday.
