Scholarships from lottery get estimates
House speaker says $5,000 for 4-year school students

Although the exact amount of lottery scholarships hasn’t been decided, the House speaker said Tuesday that it is his “personal opinion” that qualifying students at four-year colleges and universities are eligible to receive $5,000 each year while those attending two year schools will get $2,500 each year.
