ROGERS Garden Club of Rogers
The club will have their December meeting at The Center for Nonprofits, 1200 W. Walnut, downstairs in the auditorium, at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 1. The cost of the meal will be $8.25 per person, including tip. Reservations are required.
The program: “Rules of Gardening.” Dr Gerald Klingaman, professor emeritus of horticulture, University of Arkansas, will be the speaker.
In his talk, he will provide a lighthearted look at some of the most important rules for the gardener.
Bring a decorated box, ornament or decoration for the silent auction. Participation is voluntary.
Visitors are welcome.
Meetings are held the firstTuesday each month, and lunch reservations are required. For more information, call Ronna Precure at 644-9673.
Pat’s Bridge Club
The club met Nov. 18 with the following winners: Mary Theresa Mercer, first; Kay Pantier, second; Linda Langford, third; and Barbara Miller, fourth.
The group meets at 1 p.m.
