GIRLS Siloam Springs 52 Huntsville 42

Ashley Adams had 14 points and Anna Markovich 12 as Siloam Springs came back from a firstquarter deficit to defeat Huntsville in nonconference action Tuesday night.

The Lady Panthers (3-0) trailed 13-9 after the first quarter before taking a 26-23 halftime lead. They extended that lead to 36-30 after three quarters.

The Lady Eagles were led by Martha Robinson’s 27 points.

Siloam returns to action next week when it hosts the Benton County Invitational. Huntsville hosts Harrison on Saturday.

Elkins 53, Pea Ridge 40

The Lady Elks jumped out to a 22-6 lead after the first quarter and cruised from there in a win over Pea Ridge.

Elkins led 32-18 at halftime and 47-28 on its way to the win. The Lady Elks, who got 12 points from Holly Dingledine in the win, return to action Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Bi-County Tournament in West Fork.

Erin Duvall led the Lady Blackhawks (1-2) with 12 points in the loss and Kayla Bangs added 11. Pea Ridge opens play at the Benton County Invitational in Siloam Springs on Monday at 6:30 p.m. against Hartford.

BOYS Siloam Springs 58 Huntsville 55

The Panthers (3-0) pulled away in the closing minutes after being tied after three quarters and held off a last-second attempt at a tie to defeat Huntsville.

Kyle Teague led Siloam Springs with 25 points and was 8 of 8 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter. Nicholas Eshnaur added 14 points for the Panthers, who return to action when they host Farmington on Dec. 1.

Four players scored in double figures for the Eagles (2-1) in the loss, led by Tucker Trumbo’s 18 points. Bailey Counts had 15, Skyler Houston 12 and Slater Shrum 10 for Huntsville, which hosts Harrison on Saturday with junior varsity action beginning at 1 p.m.

Pea Ridge 59, Elkins 40

Kip Kelly had 18 points and Ethan Higgins 16 as the Blackhawks moved to 2-1 with the win over Elkins.

Pea Ridge returns to action Dec. 3 when it opens play at 5:30 p.m. in the Benton County Invitational.
