IN CONCERT Chamber Singers Perform Monday

The NorthWest Arkansas Community College Chamber Singers will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville.

Special guests will be the University of Arkansas Children’s Choir under the direction of Candace Davis. The performance is free.

TO YOUR HEALTH Injury Prevention Will Be Topic

The University of Arkansas graduate athletic training program and Northwest Health System will present the fourth annual RAZOR Fitness Sports Medicine Symposium on Dec. 5 at the University of Arkansas Center for Continuing Education in Fayetteville.

The focus will be on injury prevention programs.

JUST FOR FUNDS Spay Arkansas Hosts Fundraiser

Spay Arkansas is having a silent auction/music fundraiser Sunday at the Crossover Arsaga’s Coffee Shop in Fayetteville (located in the shopping center on the southeast corner of Mission and Crossover).

The event will be from 2 to 5 p.m.

Music will be provided by Emily Kaitz, Susan Shore, Candy Lee and Tiffany Christopher. Complimentary wine will be served. Auction items include jewelry, handmade hats, antiques, art, massage, beauty and haircut and color gift certificates.

COMMUNITY Dropoff Site Added For Drive

A dropoff site has been added for the ongoing food drive sponsored by the Benton County Democratic Central Committee.

The location is at Servpro in Gravette. A special collection site will be at Price Cutter on Dixieland Road in Rogers on Dec. 11.

The project is to collect nonperishable food and/or checks.

Blankets, coats and sweaters also are welcome. Collections will be directed equally to Helping Hands of Benton County and Samaritan Community Center in Rogers.

Alternative Gifts To Be Featured

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fayetteville will host its seventh annual Alternative Gift Market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6.

Local, national and international organizations will share opportunities for giving. With each gift, the donor will received a gift card explaining how the donation helps those in need.
