BASEBALL Vizquel signs with White Sox Infielder Omar Vizquel agreed Monday to one-year, $1,375,000 contract with the Chicago White Sox. Vizquel, an 11-time Gold Glove winner who will turn 43 in April, hit.266 with 1 home run and 14 RBI in 62 games with the Texas Rangers this year. He had no errors in 207 chances while playing shortstop, third and second. The switch-hitter is a career.273 hitter with 78 home runs, 906 RBI and 1,378 runs in 2,742 games with Seattle, Cleveland, San Francisco and the Rangers.
