BENTONVILLE Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested two men found cooking methamphetamine in a vehicle parked in the middle of the road, according to a news release.
Stephen Sommer, 60, and David Ford, 29, both of Garfield, were arrested in connection with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, all felonies.
Deputies responded to a call Thursday about a suspicious circumstance in the Garfield area. They found a car parked in the middle of the road.
They subsequently found four one-pot meth labs, one of which was in operation on the floor of the vehicle, according to the news release.
Sommer and Ford were being held Friday in the Benton County Jail awaiting bond hearings.
