Richard Damiani

COATESVILLE, Pa. — Richard J. Damiani, 48, of Coatesville, formerly of Ardmore, Pa., passed away Nov. 13, 2009, at the Brandywine Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was the husband of Mary Stewart Damiani, formerly of Fayetteville, and daughter of John and Billie Stewart, with whom he shared 20 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Joseph and Janet Roan Damiani of Caln, Pa.

Rick was a 1978 graduate of Haverford High School and a 1982 graduate of Rets Electronics School. He was employed by Communications Test Design, Inc. of West Chester as an account manager.

He was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church in Parkesburg.

Richard is survived, in addition to his wife and parents, by four sons, Joseph, Michael, Nicholas and John, all at home; and two siblings, Mark Stephan Damiani of Downington, Pa., and Joann Damiani Walsh of Parrish, Fla.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W. Second Ave., Parkesburg, Pa. 19365 followed by internment at the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery.

Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Church on Wednesday evening, Nov. 18, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. and also Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Damiani Children’s College Trust Fund, c/o PNC Bank, 30 N. Bailey Road, Thorndale, PA 19372.

Geneva McGarrah Bauer

LOWELL — Geneva McGarrah Bauer, 81, of Lowell died Nov. 16, 2009. She was born July 15, 1928, in Lowell to Edgar and Pearl Grizzle McGarrah.

She was a member of Jesus Name Assembly Pentecostal Church and a farmer.

Survivors include a brother, Harlow McGarrah and wife, Oleta, of Siloam Springs; a sister, Erma Dean Layne and husband, Arnold, of Bentonville; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services are at 3 p.m. Thursday at Jesus Name Assembly Pentecostal Church in Springdale.

Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.

Tony Matthews

FAYETTEVILLE — Tony Lee Matthews, 42, died Nov. 11, 2009. He was born July 16, 1967, in Fayetteville.

He was employed at the Walmart Distribution Center.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa; seven children; mother, Florence Matthews; six sisters; and four brothers.

A wake will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at St. James Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Marianna Funeral Home in Marianna.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lee Senior High School. Burial will be in Pilgrim Cemetery.

Patricia Horrocks

KINGSTON — Patricia Ann Horrocks, 41, died Nov. 11, 2009, at her home. She was born July 17, 1968, in Jacksonville, Fla., to Thomas Estes Jr. and Patricia Ann Blodgett Godwin.

She was a homemaker and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey of Middleburg, Fla.; three daughters, Contessa Devereaux of Sacramento, Calif., Devonna Lonsinger of Jacksonville, Fla., and Megan Viverelle of Rucker, Ala.; father, Thomas Estes Godwin Jr. of Kingston; mother and stepfather, Patricia Ann and Barry Griffin of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Prayer Lake Resurrection Church.

Arrangements are by Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Ryan Clark

SPRINGDALE — Ryan Lee Clark, 28, of Springdale died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, in Fayetteville.

He was born May 23, 1981, in Fayetteville to Ronnie and Alice Acuff Clark. Ryan enjoyed fishing, video games, BBQing with his family and friends and horseback riding.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Clark of Springdale; three sisters, Tina Murphy Horsey and husband, Stephen, Rhonda Murphy Sanders and husband, Donnie, and Misty Murphy, all of Springdale; and several loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Cecil Case officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Samuel Myers

SPRINGDALE — Dr. Samuel Randolph Myers, age 58, of Springdale died Nov. 14, 2009, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

He was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Memphis, Tenn., to Samuel Ransom and Jane Evelyn Daniel Myers. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Springdale where he was organist for many years. He was a retired assistant superintendent of Springdale Schools where he served for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Casteel Myers, whom he married Dec. 18, 1976; and one son, Robert Jacob Myers and wife, Dawn Gail Myers, of Springdale.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Charlie Foster officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Jim Rollins, Hartzell Jones, Dr. Ronald Bradshaw, Ben Carson, Shell Spivey and Johnny Smith.

The family has requested that memorials be made on behalf of his grand niece, Ashley Stewart, at Bethany International School of Missions, 6820 Auto Club Road, Suite A, Bloomington, MN 55438 for Ashley Stewart-Kenya.

Shirley Reed

EUREKA SPRINGS — Shirley L. Reed, 87 of Eureka Springs, died Nov. 16, 2009, in Eureka Springs. She was born May 27, 1922, in Salem, Mass., to Charles F. and Harriett Miller Reed.

She is survived by three sons, Scott Reed of Eureka Springs, Charles Reed of California and Dennis R. Reed of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A private memorial service will be held in the spring.
