Stacy L. Martin

SILOAM SPRINGS — Stacy L. Martin, 41, of Siloam Springs died Nov. 15, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born March 24, 1968, in San Jose, Calif., to Bob and Betty Kirkpatrick Smith.

She was a dispatcher and paramedic for the Siloam Springs Police Department and a member of the Parelli Horsemanship Group.

Survivors include her husband, Jon Martin; a daughter, Corey Ann Martin of the home; her mother, Betty Smith of Rogers; her father, Bob Smith of Salado, Texas; and a brother, Rob Smith and wife, Chris, of Bentonville.

Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at New Life Tabernacle in Siloam Springs.

Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Linden Brewer

CAVE SPRINGS — Linden Brewer, 73, of Cave Springs died Nov. 17, 2009, at his home. He was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Pottsville to Woodrow Brewer and Dessie Kinder.

He served in the U.S. Army and retired from McClinton Anchor after 36 years.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; a son, Tommy Brewer and his wife, Karen, of Cave Springs; two daughters, Lynna Brewer, and Toni Graham and her husband, Trent, all of Cave Springs; five brothers; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Haven in Bentonville.

Services are at 10 a.m. Friday at The Haven.

Burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.

Lela Blanche Barnes

SILOAM SPRINGS — Lela Blanche Barnes, 85, of Siloam Springs died Nov. 16, 2009, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 24, 1924, in Tulsa, Okla., to Roy and Chole Brundidge Janes.

She was a homemaker and a member of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice Louise Chism and husband, Bill, and LuAnn Ganson, all of Siloam Springs; a son, Leroy Elmore and wife, Della, of Siloam Springs; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Weddington Cemetery.

Christine Dennison

CENTERTON — Christine Dennison, 62, of Centerton died Nov. 15, 2009, in Little Rock. She was born Feb. 24, 1947, in Ottumwa, Iowa.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting and reading.

Survivors include her husband, Carl; two daughters, Melissa Elliott, and Cindy Box and husband John, all of Centerton; two sisters; and three grandchildren.

Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rogers.

Arrangements are by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.

Dale H. Jefferson

BENTONVILLE — Dale H. Jefferson, 94, of Bentonville died Nov. 16, 2009. He was born Oct. 28, 1915, in Bentonville to James Harvey and Vivian Davis Jefferson.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Survivors include a brother, Ray Jefferson of Bentonville; and a sister.

Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. today at the First Christian Church of Bentonville.

Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church.

Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park.

Marcia Darlene Parks

ROGERS — Marcia Darlene Parks, 79, of Rogers died Nov. 16, 2009, at her home. She was born Oct. 13, 1930, in Newkirk, Okla., to Henry Joe and Nora Rettig Backhaus.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne; a daughter, Karen Sage and her husband, Michel, of Rogers; a sister, Berdena Brewer of Rogers; and a grandson.

Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. today at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park.

Sharon Dinese Sumner

SILOAM SPRINGS — Sharon Dinese Sumner, 67, of Siloam Springs died Nov. 16, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born July 1, 1942, in Bethany, Mo., to Clark and Imogene Hutchison Kemp.

She was a high school and college secretary, and a member of the Siloam Springs Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Ray Sumner and wife, Jolene, of Abilene, Kan.; a daughter, Chris Schaefer and husband, Alan, of Bowdle, S.D.; a sister, Tasha Linam and husband, Charles, of Decatur; a brother; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church in Siloam Springs.

Harold E. Walters

OLATHE, Kan. — Harold E. (“Tuffy”) Walters, 87, of Olathe, Kan., passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Society of Olathe. Harold was born in 1922 in Olathe.

He graduated from John P. St. John High School, Olathe in 1940 and attended the University of Kansas until enlisting in the Navy in 1942. He graduated from cadet flight training and went on to become a commissioned officer. He served at various duty stations throughout the states as a naval flight instructor until being honorably discharged after the war. Harold was a longtime businessman in Olathe, owning and operating Walters’ Jewelry store and repairing watches. Harold moved to Rogers, Arkansas, in 1975 where he semiretired and became active in their community. During these last few years Harold volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels in and around the Rogers area.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph O. and Mabel E. Walters; his oldest son, Ronald E. Walters; and his second wife of 37 years, Justine Walters.

He is survived by two sons, R.J. Walters, Bangkok, Thailand, and Lindsey (Ronda) Walters, Olathe. His grandchildren, Sarah (Brett) Miley, Peoria, Ill.; Bonnie (Billy) Zehr, Audrey (Tanner) Welch, and Samuel Walters, Wichita, Kan., Ryan Walters, La Junta, Colorado, Molly Walters, Fort Smith; and a step-grandson, Colton McDonald, Santa Fe, N.M. He also has two great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons.

A graveside memorial service is pending.

Geneva McGarrah Bauer

LOWELL — Geneva McGarrah Bauer, 81, of Lowell died Nov. 16, 2009. She was born July 15, 1928, in Lowell to Edgar and Pearl Grizzle McGarrah.

She was a member of Jesus Name Assembly Pentecostal Church and a farmer.

Survivors include a brother, Harlow McGarrah and wife, Oleta, of Siloam Springs; a sister, Erma Dean Layne and husband, Arnold, of Bentonville; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services are at 3 p.m. Thursday at Jesus Name Assembly Pentecostal Church in Springdale.

Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery.

Stacy Lee Sanders

KANSAS, Okla. — Stacy Lee Sanders, 38, of Kansas, Okla., died Nov. 16, 2009, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born July 16, 1971, in Muskogee, Okla., to Jumper Buck and Josephine Sanders. His adoptive parents were Sequoyah Cochran and Anna Lou Cochran Glass.

He had been employed at Tyson’s Food and Americold.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca; a daughter, Tracey Sanders of the home; three half-brothers; and three half-sisters.

Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at the New Green Baptist Church near Kansas, Okla.

Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at the New Green Baptist Church.

Burial will be at the Blackfox Cemetery near Kansas, Okla.
