Palin sets visit to Fayetteville, will sign books

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate, will be in Fayetteville on Dec. 3 to sign copies of her book Going Rogue: An American Life.
Palin will be at the Sam’s Club store at 3081 N. Arkansas 112 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day as part of her book tour, said Kristy Reed, a spokesman with the Sam’s Club division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in Bentonville.
The book, which sells for $29 retail, officially hits store shelves today. Even before its release, the book became controversial over the weekend as advanced copies were distributed to reviewers.
