Clarke honored by SEC after 51-point effort

Arkansas sophomore guard Rotnei Clarke was named the first SEC basketball player of the week, the conference office announced Monday, after he opened the season with a school-record 51 points in the Razorbacks’ 130-68 victory over Alcorn State on Friday night. Clarke also hit 13 three-point baskets to set SEC and school records.
