100 YEARS AGO Nov. 16, 1909 Acting Mayor Tuohey was in conference with City Electrician John W. Bleidt and Fire Chief Charles Hafer yesterday, securing estimates as to the cost of equipping the proposed new city electric plant and fire headquarters. “There is a lot of detail to be gone through with before matters can be shaped definitely enough to bring the proposition before the council,” said Acting Mayor Tuohey.
