Life Way Sweeps

SPRINGDALE Life Way Christian claimed a four-game sweep of Cornerstone Christian Academy on Friday in Arkansas Association of Christian Schools Conference action.
Life Way’s junior girls (2-0 AACS) claimed an 18-16 win and the junior boys (1-0) were 15-4 winners.
Magan Daniel scored 13 points to lead the senior girls (6-2, 3-0) to a 28-25 win and Matt Landis had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the senior boys’ 33-25 win. Lucas Bell added nine points for the Life Way (4-2, 3-0).
On Saturday the senior girls downed Word of Outreach 29-17 as Daniel scored eight points. And the senior boys were 42-28 winners behind Landis’ 21 points and 11 rebounds.
