Several militants die in Afghanistan

An Afghan mother watches her injured boy Saturday in a hospital in Herat after NATO and Afghan forces moved against insurgents in the Shindand district.
NATO and Afghan forces killed several insurgents, including an armed woman, in a search operation in western Afghanistan on Saturday, the alliance said.
