Ceremony Honors Those Affected By Alzheimer’s

ROANOKE, Va. Heritage Park Nursing Center will host a “Candle of Care” ceremony at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The event is part of a nationwide event sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America to remember and honor Americans who have been or will be affected by Alzheimer’s or related illnesses.
Individuals will light candles and form a human chain along Dixieland Road in front of the nursing home which is located at 1513 S. Dixieland Road. The event is open to the public.
