Norma Anderson

FAYETTEVILLE — Norma Lucille Anderson, 95, of Fayetteville, formerly of Rogers, died Nov. 9, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 27, 1914, at Detroit, the daughter of George and Estella Pettengil Levack.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Anderson; and a great-granddaughter, Lilly Kate Eide.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Rochester, Michigan Troy Chapter 115 and a Methodist.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Anderson and his wife, Sue, of Rogers, and Richard Anderson of California; a daughter, Lori Anderson of California; two grandchildren, Stephanie Rhea and her husband, John, of Rogers, and Gregg Eide and his wife, Lauren, of Rogers; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service and burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, Calif.

Local arrangements were by Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.

Paul Presley

FAYETTEVILLE — Paul Edwin Presley, 33, died Nov. 9, 2009, in Las Vegas. He was born March 20, 1976, in Fayetteville to Larry Brent and Martha Searcy Presley.

He was a member of First Christian Church of Bentonville and First Christian Church of Fayetteville.

Survivors include his parents of Fayetteville; one sister; and grandmother, Eunice Viola Presley of Bentonville.

There will be no visitation.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Bentonville. Burial will be private. Cremation was by Valley Funeral Home of Las Vegas.

Paula Butler

ROGERS — Paula Jo Hinson Butler of Rogers was born Dec. 2, 1956, in Searcy, to Tommy and Jo Hinson, and departed this life on Nov. 10, 2009, in Springfield, Mo. She was 52 years of age.

Paula committed her life to Christ as her Savior and Lord when she was a child, and in more recent years has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers. She worked for several years with the children’s choirs in her church.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Butler of the home; one daughter, Laura Butler of the home; two stepdaughters, Rachel Butler of Virginia, and Tina Butler of Rogers; one brother, Lee Hinson and his wife, Ann, of Collierville, Tenn.; and one sister, Renee Burdick and her husband, Steve, of Spartenburg, S.C. She is also survived by one nephew and five nieces.

Paula worked at the Walmart Home Office where she was a manager in the Compliance Department. She invested her life in their 13-year-old daughter, Laura.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Rollins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Rogers with Dr. Wes George officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church of Rogers.

Linda Sue Snider

SILOAM SPRINGS — Linda Sue Snider, 69, of Siloam Springs died Nov. 11, 2009, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. She was born Sept. 7, 1940, in Bethal, Texas, to John W. Turner and Erma Gurganus Ray.

She retired from the John Brown University cafeteria staff after 12 years of service.

Survivors include three daughters, Gwen Boroughs and husband Luther, of Camden, Teresa Smith and husband Kenny of Siloam Springs, and Nanci Brigance and husband Shawn of Gentry; four sons, Randy Koci of Houston, Texas, Brent Koci and wife Alysa of Siloam Springs, Steven Koci of Tulsa, Okla., and Charles Snider and partner Dan Muzinich of Studio City, Calif.; a brother; three sisters, including Sandra Goswick of Siloam Springs and Lynn Sangwin of Bentonville; a half-brother; a half-sister; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.
