Bisbee Plans Town-Hall Meeting Friday In Siloam Springs

Posted: November 12, 2009 at 3:59 a.m.

— County Judge Dave Bisbee is taking his weekly town hall meeting to Siloam Springs.

At noon Friday, Bisbee and other county administrators will host a question-and-answer session at Arvest Bank, 109 E. University St.

“The folks that have come to the (previous) meetings have asked some pretty engaging questions,” county administrator Greg Hines said. “Being (in the County Administration Building) every day, it is hard for us to know what questions people are asking.”

At the last town-hall meeting in Siloam Springs, residents questioned Bisbee about how to handle trash dumped on rural property and the problem of stray dogs.

Those topics will likely come up again on Friday, as will the county’s 2010 operating budget and a potential county building plan, Bisbee said.
