At Fort Hood, Obama honors lives of 13 slain

President consoles families, says killer will meet justice

Soldiers fold an American flag Monday at Fort Hood near Killeen, Texas, in preparation for President Barack Obama’s planned visit to the base today.

President Barack Obama spoke the names and told the stories Tuesday of the 13 people slain in the Fort Hood shooting rampage one by one, honoring their memories as he denounced the “twisted logic” that led to their deaths.
