Moving out is difficult, especially when a family includes three wolves, three deer, a gray fox, a raccoon, a pack of dogs and 14 birds.

Jim Orr, owner of the Witter Wildlife Refuge, is trying to pack up and leave before he’s evicted by the Madison County sheriff’s office under court order after a bank foreclosed on the property.

Monday morning, a distressed Orr said he’s certain most of the refuge’s animals have a place to go. But he has yet to find a home for a 7-year-old wolf named Bear - a burly arctic-timber mix that was rescued as a cub in Hot Springs. He said he’s also having trouble figuring out what to do ...
