China got best part of deal Congressman Vic Snyder and Sens. Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor voted for President Obama’s $974 billion federal stimulus bill. It was promised that the spending would create or save jobs so that the unemployment rate would not be more than 8 percent. Now the unemployment rate is 9.8 percent, but if those who have given up on finding a job are counted, the rate is probably more than 16 percent.
