Why is the board determined to promote policy by ambush? I've asked them numerous times to have city town halls to explain what they want. Once it is out in the open and debated, I believe we might just find an agenda that is contrivercial.
The schools do not belong to the students or their parents alone. The schools are another government entity that serves ALL its constituents and the board serves at the pleasure of the public. This is starting to look more and more like the despots described in the Declaration of Independence. It is not only our right, but it is our duty to responde accordingly.
Maybe if the school taught more about the constitution and our founding documents INSTEAD of "Day of the Dead", an event not of American culture, then we might get some good honest conversation. I wonder who the board is really working for? Are they truly ignorant of the FAR LEFT path they are taking?
