Jimmie Johnson (48) wrecked on the third lap of the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, allowing Batesville’s Mark Martin to make up 111 points on the Sprint Cup Chase leader.

Jimmie Johnson’s drive to history took a hard hit against a wall and Kyle Busch ran out of gas trying to complete an unprecedented NASCAR trifecta.
