WEDDINGS

Peak-Kingston

Jennifer Kingston and Adam Peak, both of Rogers, were married at 6 p.m. Oct. 10, 2009, at The Event Place in Fayetteville.

Brandon Call officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Carmen and Stephen Kingston of Bentonville and Loretta Kingston of Rogers. She is the granddaughter of Susana and Jaime Villalobos of Santiago, Chile, Marian Kingston of Provo, Utah, and the late Richard Kingston.

The groom is the son of Joanna and Richard Peak of Springdale and Carol and Rocky Casey of Prairie Grove. He is the grandson of Marie Crews of Farmington, the late James Crews, Maeleen and Ronald Cunningham of Prairie Grove, Sonja Swankier of Spring Valley and the late David Swankier.

The bride wore a strapless A-line gown with a pearl-accented veil that was her “something borrowed.” The bride’s stepmother, Carmen Kingston, arranged the bouquets of red and white roses.

Claire Smith of Rogers was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Kingston, the bride’s sister, and Shannon Ingram, both of Rogers.

Brian Davis of Centerton was best man.

Groomsmen were the groom’s brothers, Austin Peak of Wichita, Kan., and Kolby Casey of Berryville.

Penelope Strahm and Madeline Hancock were flower girls. Karson Casey was the ring bearer.

Omar Kingston seated guests, and Whitney Kingston attended the guest book. Carol Casey was wedding planner.

A reception followed the ceremony at The Event Place.

The bride works at Gusano’s in Bentonville, and the groom is a certified nursing assistant at The Meadows independent living center in Bentonville.

Johnson-Jones

Caitlin Nell Jones of Brookston, Ind., and Eric Christopher Johnson of Indianapolis, Ind., were married Aug. 29, 2009, at the home of Lee and Jim Lamb in Zionsville, Ind. Minister Ken Liechty officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Teresa and Jim Jones of Brookston.

Parents of the groom are Paula and Donn Johnson of Fayetteville.

Attending the bride were her sister Chelsea Barnett, matron of honor, and bridesmaids Kim Han and Megan Nogle.

Gwendolyn Barnett was train attendant, Sophia Barnett was flower girl and Madelyn Barnett was ring bearer. All are nieces of the bride.

Joel Gallagher served as best man.

Groomsmen were Chris Hein and Micah Childress.

Jesse Jones and Christopher Lamb seated guests, and Mindy Hart attended the guest book. Wedding music was provided by a string quartet of Pat Murphy, Candace Murphy, Micah Walters and Elijah Walters.

A reception followed the ceremony.

After a wedding trip to Big Sur, Calif., the couple will live in Indianapolis.

Tolan-Hunt

Lisa Hunt and Eric Tolan, both of Pea Ridge, were married at 5 p.m. Sept. 5, 2009, at Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista. Pastor Richard Lindman officiated.

The bride is daughter of Larry Hunt of Great Bend, Kan., and Connie and Jim Knowles of Grove, Okla. She is the granddaughter of Shirley and Arthur Hunt of Great Bend, the late Robert Beaman and Ruth and Walter Martin of Grove. She has a son, Alexander Roberts of Pea Ridge.

The groom is the son of Terri and Kent Kohls of Great Bend and the late Gerald Tolan. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Moore of Great Bend.

The bride wore a white strapless satin and chiffon A-line gown with a sidedraped bodice of glass cut beads, pearls and sequins and a chapel-length train.

She carried a bouquet of red roses handcrafted by her grandmother.

The bride’s sisters Kristi Hunt of Bentonville and Serena Hunt of Nashville, Tenn., attended her as maids of honor.

Bridesmaids were groom’s sisters Cheryl Tolan and Crystal Tolan, both of Great Bend, and the groom’s niece Mackenzie Norman was junior bridesmaid.

John P. Flaherty of Pratt, Kan., was best man. Groomsmen were Darrin Bieberle of Great Bend and the bride’s brothers Francis and Parry Hunt of Bentonville.

Dylan Tolan and Mason Norman, the groom’s nephews, were junior groomsmen.

The bride’s niece, Alora Hunt, was flower girl, and the groom’s nephew, Logan Norman, was ring bearer.

Alex Roberts and Joanna Strecker lighted candles. Music was performed by Nathaniel Davenport.

A reception followed at the Peel Mansion in Bentonville with Charolette and Brandon Patten and Crystal Beaman assisting.

The bride is a graduate of Barton County Community College in Great Bend and works as a sales and support manager for Foundation Telecommunications in Rogers. The groom is employed at X-Train Fit in Bentonville.

Figgins-Piazza

Lisa Michelle Piazza and Timothy James Figgins, both of Springdale, were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 22, 2009, at Faith Assembly of God in Springdale. Pastor Billy Burks officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Karon Wright of Springdale and Larry Piazza of Cave Springs. She is the granddaughter of Charlotte and Henry Piazza of Tontitown and the late Dona and Tollie Bixler.

The groom is the son of Kendra and James Figgins of Springdale. He is the grandson of Margaret Slaney of Hudson, Fla., the late Charlotte and Kenneth LeFort and the late Marion and Charles Figgins.

Rachael Piazza of Cave Springs attended her sister as maid of honor.

Brian Figgins of Johnson served his brother as best man.

The bride is employed by Mercy Medical Center in Rogers and the groom by Hantover in Tontitown.
