Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will host several area blood drives this week.

Drives include:

Bella Vista - 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Delta Trust and Bank, 1790 Forest Hills Blvd.

Bentonville - 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Harps Food Store, 110 Midtown Center

Bentonville - 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Benton County Sheriff’s Office, 1300 S.W. 14th St.

Bentonville - 9 a.m.

Schools’ Drive

Aids Food Bank

A student food drive benefiting Northwest Arkansas Food Bank will be held at several area high schools now through Nov. 19.

Students at Fayetteville High School, Gentry HighSchool, Rogers Heritage, Springdale Har-Ber High School, Springdale High School and St. Paul High School will be collecting canned goods to feed those in need in Northwest Arkansas. The schools that collect the most food will win prizes.

Women In Nestle Begin Food Drive

The Women in Nestle are hosting a food drive to benefit the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank through Nov. 20.

The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank serves 117 charities across the fourcounty area, working with churches, low income day cares and schools. The most urgent needs of the food bank are: canned fruits and vegetables, beans, cereal, canned meats, rice and dry milk.

The group wants to raise 10,000 pounds of donations during the three-week campaign. Food or monetary donations may be dropped off at any of the Nestle locations, including Purina, 2049 E. Joyce Blvd. No. 200, Fayetteville; Nestle USA, 600 S. 52nd St. No. 100, Rogers;

Nestle Waters, 901 McClain Road No. 800, Bentonville;

and Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, 105 S.E. Executive Drive Suite 7, Bentonville.

Middle School

Hosts Book Fair SPRINGDALE - Helen Tyson Middle School will hold a scholastic book fair from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 19 and 20 and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

at Pontiac Coffee House, 515 S. Thompson St.
