Women’s Group To Host Fair FAYETTEVILLE - The Women’s Connection will host its annual Harvest Fair luncheon from 11:30 a.m.
to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Clarion Inn, 1255 S. Shiloh Drive. Participants may shop for crafts, baked goods and white elephant gifts, and bid on special items in a silent auction.

Gardeners Plan Card Party BELLA VISTA - The Bella Vista Garden Club will hold annual Card Party Scholarship Benefit from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday at the United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Road. The cost will be $40 table, and players will provide their own cards and game materials.

Slates Programs FAYETTEVILLE - The Fayetteville Lions Club meets at noon every Wednesday at the Clarion Inn, at I-540 and U.S. 62. The club has slated the following programs for November:

Weavers Examine Architecture SPRINGDALE - The Northwest Arkansas Handweavers’ Guild will have its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Arts Center of the Ozarks, 214 S. Main St.
The program will be “Architecture and Textiles: Interwoven.” Participants are encouraged to bring handwoven items for showand-tell.
Mystery Club
Hears Reporter FAYETTEVILLE - The Whodunits Mystery Club will meet at noon Saturday at the Fayetteville AQ Chicken Restaurant. The guest speaker will be freelance court reporter Rebecca Sanderson of Sanderson Court Reporting, who will discuss court reporting, its different types and her wide array of assignments.
The Whodunits club is for all who are interested in mystery, true crime and how the law works.

Celebrates Day
The Northwest Arkansas Marine Corps League, Detachment No. 854, will host the U.S. Marine Corps’ 234th birthday celebration beginning at 6 p.m. Monday at The Club Frisco, 105 Poplar St., Rogers.
The traditional cake-cutting ceremony will take place at 7 p.m.
United States Marines or Navy Corpsmen, past or present, are invited to attend.
The dress code for active duty personnel is dress blues or service “A” uniform. For past Marines and Corpsmen, business causal is appropriate.

AAUW To Hear About Crossroads BENTONVILLE - The Bentonville/Bella Vista Branch of the American Association of University Women is hosting Deb Walter from the Crossroads Alternative School at their meeting in the Bentonville Public Library from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
She will discuss the educational program provided at the Crossroads School for at-risk youth, ages 13-18.
