Hobbs To Host More Eagle Tours

Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area is hosting eagle watch tours on Beaver Lake through February 2010. Tour dates include Wednesday, Nov. 22, 25 and 29, according to information from the park.

Five bald eagles were seen on the first tour, said Natalie Casey, park interpreter.

The tours are limited to 20 people at a time.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at the park's visitor center near the intersection of Arkansas 12 and War Eagle Road just east of Rogers. Cost is $10 for adults, and $5 for children ages 6-12.

Tours depart Rocky Branch Marina at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
