Fire Captain Honored For Effort

— Capt. Doug Earp of the Rogers Fire Department was recognized for his efforts in overseeing the installation of new mobile data units and supporting dispatch software in vehicles.

Earp, who volunteered for the task, received a reward from the City's Employee Incentive Program, according to a news release.

Earp is a 12-year veteran of the department.

The mobile data dispatch system is designed to provide emergency units with essential dispatch and routing information delivered to a terminal installed in the fire trucks and ambulances.
