Poker Run Aids Children’s Shelter

— The annual Shelter from the Storm Motorcycle Poker Run is Saturday. Proceeds benefi t Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter.

Riders depart at 10 a.m., from Pig Trail Harley-Davidson in Rogers. Registrationbegins at 9, according to a news release. So far this year, Pig Trail Harley-Davidson and its customers have helped raise more than $10,000 for the shelter. The goal for this year’s ride is $10,000.

There is a $25 entry fee. The 118-mile ride ends in Fayetteville with lunch atLouie’s Grill and Bar.

The first 200 to register will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
