Ryan Moreland recorded two sacks, Jeremy Spiekes added four tackles for loss and Rogers Lingle came up with a goal-line stand to preserve its win over Oakdale on Thursday.

Jose Campos scored on a 13-yard touchdown run, and Brandon Gates returned a kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown for Lingle, which has outscored its last three opponents by a109-12 margin.

Gates also teamed with Zach Phalen to stop Oakdale at the goal line in the second half, and Spiekes finished with nine tackles.

Springdale Central 13

Braxton Jester threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead Southwest to a win over Central on Thursday.

Jester completed a 6-yardtouchdown pass to Colton Wetzler to give Southwest an early lead, and he connected with Jordan Dennis on a 25-yard strike to extend their advantage to 22-6 at halftime. Gus Vitt also broke a 60-yard touchdown run in the first half.

Wetzler and Matt Sherry each intercepted a pass for Southwest, which finished the season 8-2. The loss dropped Central to 6-4.
