Bella Vista To Hold Special Election

— The city of Bella Vista will have a special election Dec. 8. All registered voters who live inside the city will be allowed to vote in the special election to decide a 1 cent sales-and-use tax for the Fire and PoliceDepartments.

Early voting will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1-7.

Early voting will be at the Benton County Administration Building, 215 E. Central Ave. in Bentonville, and in Rogers at the County Clerk’s o◊ce, 300 W. Poplar St.

The Sugar Creek ShoppingCenter in Bella Vista also will be open for early voting from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1-4, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7.

Bethel Heights also will have a special election Dec. 8. All registered voters who live inside the city will be allowed to vote to change terms of city aldermen fromtwo years to four years.

Early voting will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1-7 at the County Administration Building in Bentonville and the County Clerk’s office in Rogers.
