Jurors Awaiting Negligent Homicide Case

PROSECUTORS SAY WRECK CAUSED BY DRUNKEN DRIVER

Ludrick, 31, is charged with negligent homicide in the death of Miguel Guadarrama-Nava, 66, following a four-vehicle accident on Old Wire Road, just south of Emma Avenue shortly before Christmas. Ludrick is a native of a Micronesian island, Pohnpei, and speaks an obscure South Pacific island dialect. Joel is a native of Pohnpei and fluent in the dialect.

Amber Ayala and her children still remember the night two vehicles slammed head-on into their minivan. The crash killed the children’s grandfather and sent the rest of the family to the hospital.
