Police Make Arrest After Alleged Rape

SPRINGDALE — Issac Garretson, 19, of Springdale was arrested Saturday in connection with the alleged rape of a female juvenile who was spending the night at his family’s home at 3138 Chadwick St.
About 4 a.m. the accusersent a text to her mother, saying she’d been raped, according to a Springdale Police Department news release.
“Officers made contact with the victim and suspect at that location and began interviewing everyone in the residence,” according to the release.
Garretson voluntarily accompanied police to be interviewed by the Springdale Criminal Investigations Division.
He was placed under arrest after the interview and booked into Washington County Jail. Garretson is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
