Museum pays “Final Respects”

The exhibit will be open through Nov. 7.

Rogers Historical Museum Director Gaye Bland was in a late 1800’sstyle mourning dress on Saturday to promote to the museum’s Halloween exhibit ‘Final Respects.’

Death was the word of the day for visitors of the Rogers Historical Museum as they strolled past a horse-drawn hearse from 1860 and viewed artifacts from funeral and mourning customs from years past.
