Home sale tax credit lowers bar for buyers

Northwest Arkansas real estate agents say an extended first-time homebuyers’ tax credit and a proposed credit for buyers moving up to larger houses is helping a segment of buyers left out of the real estate boom market of three years ago — those who can afford properties priced less than $100,000.
