Lightning to hold rec sign-ups tonight

BENTONVILLE — The Northwest Arkansas Lightning Soccer Club will hold sign-ups tonight for its recreational soccer league.
The sign-ups will be from 6 to 8:30 at Phillips Park. The recreation league is for players from ages 3 to 18. Players must be 3 before July 31, 2009.
Volunteer coaches are needed at all rec-league levels.
Northwest Arkansas Lightning also needs volunteers to help park cars at the P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship. The event, presented by John Q. Hammons, is part of the 2009 LPGA Tour and will be held Sept. 7-13 at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers.
