Springdale
WASHINGTON COUNTY Polly Ann Robbins, 79, of Springdale died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice.
She was born May 3, 1930, in the Thompson community, the daughter of Henly and Nora Tincher Grubbs.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Everett Baker in 1980 and Kermos Robbins in 2002.
She was the manager for Lake Fayetteville Boat Dock, retiring after 19 years. She was a member of Richland Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Jamie Baker and his wife Michaela of Springdale; a stepdaughter, Joyce Tuller of Fayetteville; three grandsons, Willie Baker of Batesville and Jeremy Baker and Joshua Baker, both of Springdale; two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Kenleigh Baker of Batesville; three stepgrandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel. Officiating will be Elder Eddie Samuels. Burial will be in Buckner Cemetery.

Wesley
Irene Boatright, 86, of the Wesley community died Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Arrangements will be announced by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Jonesboro
Kathy Sue Metcalf, 58, of Jonesboro died Monday, July 27, 2009. She was born Jan. 31, 1951, in Indiana to Joe Willie Metcalf and Jean Bray. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Luna of Jonesboro; two daughters, Terri Byerly of Trumann and Kim Gordon of Simsbury, Conn.; four brothers, Roger Stephens of Jonesboro, Jimmy Joe Chaffin of Trumann, Donny Metcalf of Siloam Springs and Dennis Metcalf of Rogers; four sisters, Phyllis Cate of Jay, Okla., Sherry Alexander of Gravette, Betty Wood of Athens, Texas, and JoeAnn McClelland of Siloam Springs; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held.
